Hello! I am a third-generation Konko believer, born in Hawaii and raised at the Konko Mission of Wahiawa. Both of my parents are Konko ministers, and as wonderful role models of deep faith and caring, my siblings and I also chose to become Konko ministers.

 After high school, at the age of 18, I traveled to Japan to train at the Konko Church of Amagi in Fukuoka, on the island of Kyushu, for two and a half years. It was an opportunity to further develop my faith and conversational Japanese fluency. I later attended the Konko-Kyo Theological Seminary for a year, which is located at the Konko-Kyo Headquarters in Okayama, Japan. In 2002, I was ordained as a Konko Minister.

Upon my return to Hawaii, I served at the Konko Mission of Honolulu from 2002 to 2004.

I moved to California In 2004, after being extended a warm invitation to serve here at the Konko Church of San Francisco! In addition to serving at church, I was able to pursue a college education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

My hobbies and interests include cooking, eating food, fishing, outdoors, Kendo, and spending time traveling with my wife.
